3rd Grade News
We have had a great week in 3rd grade getting to know our students even better academically. We focused our reading around an article on school calendars (year-round vs. traditional), completed some persuasive writing, and debated the topic all while learning to be respectful of the opinions of others.
Our "Power of Flower" unit has started and we learned what it takes for a flower to make seeds. Michigan history has started!
We will begin with state symbols and the geography of our great state..
In math, we have expanded our rounding of tens and hundreds to 3 and 4-digit numbers. Friday ended with some fun math workshop rotations--be sure to ask your student about it!
What a great week!
